CALLING ALL KIDS! GET SET FOR FUN IN THE 1000 ISLANDS!

There are plenty of things for the younger folk to do in Gananoque and the 1000 Islands while families are on vacation.

Outdoorsy kids can play a round of mini-golf at the Putt N' Play in Gananoque, or even get a group together and shoot a round of paintball with the team at Ground Zero Paintball on Marble Rock Road. Vanridge ATV Tours & Trails in Mallorytown also promises tons of fun for the whole family and a chance to see the wilderness of the 1000 Islands. Children must be over six-years-old to ride.

Local arts school Dreams in Motion always has activities on the go, from dance to art classes.

The Arthur Child Heritage Museum at Gananoque historic waterfront village is an excellent opportunity for an educational outing with the children. The museum involved fun, interactive displays telling about the Gananoque region and the St. Lawrence River.

Want your children to take in some culture? Enjoy one of the family-friendly plays on this summer at the Thousand Islands Playhouse's Springer Theatre. Touted as the best live professional theatre in Eastern Ontario, click on www.1000islandsplayhouse.com for more information.

Visit this site often as more family fun opportunities will be posted as the summer months approach!
